Brett White
Chief Financial Officer
Brett White has more than 20 years of financial leadership experience spanning a range of high-technology organizations from privately held startups to billion-dollar public global enterprises. He joined Meru as chief financial officer in 2007, responsible for the finance, legal, and information technology groups. In March 2010, he led the company through a successful IPO.
White was previously CFO at business security systems provider Fortinet. Before that he was CFO at two publicly held companies, application service provider Corio and customer relationship management vendor Kana Software.
In his 10 years at Oracle, White rose from finance manager for the International Division to vice president of finance, responsible for one-third of the company’s revenue. In addition, he oversaw the financial aspects of Oracle’s expansion into Latin America, the Middle East, Africa, and India. He started his career at Arthur Young (now Ernst and Young) in San Francisco.
White holds a BA degree in business economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
