Rush-Henrietta School District

Rush-Henrietta, a K-12 school district located in Henrietta, New York, has extensive experience with wireless networking. Early in its growth, the school district deployed laptops and desktops in elementary classrooms and a few mobile carts in secondary schools.

With a vision of integrating technology to help improve student achievement and learning, the district recognized the need to overhaul the wireless network to accommodate the increasing number of users and the multitude of new and sophisticated applications. Rush-Henrietta selected Meru’s Wireless LAN System for its district-wide wireless network. When complete, the network will serve 6,000 students, 650 faculty, and 550 staff across four administrative buildings and nine schools with approximately 450 classrooms.
